Benton, Clinton, and Winslow, Maine, business records
Daybooks and ledgers of Cony & Barton Co., Hinds & Stark Co., Hinds & Lunt Co. and William K. Lunt Col., general merchandisers, all of Benton, Maine; and also an unidentified ledger, probably belonging to a Clinton, Maine firm, and a personal account book, 1851-1897, of Hanes L. Chase family papers
This collection documents members of the Chase family of York, Me. Contents include correspondence, postcards, genealogies, school and military records, property and financial documents, land deeds, catalogs, a daybook, a letter book, and photographs. The collection reflects the relationships and activities of multiple generations of Chases, as well as their property, finances, and business affairs.
Ellis B. Usher collection
Deeds, correspondence, and financial records. The majority of this collection are deeds in Usher's name or later ones for his heirs. The correspondence folders are mostly legal documents and some pertaining to the lumber business.
John Stuart Barrows Sr. papers
Primarily correspondence and legal and financial papers of John Stuart Barrows Sr., including drafts of love letters addressed to Ann Ayer Bradley. Barrow’s day and account books reflect both personal and town financial dealings, and his justice docket details issues heard as Justice of the Peace. Included in the family correspondence are letters to Georgianna Souther Barrows and Samuel Souther, her father, from various correspondents.

Lewis Wyman records
The general store, in various periods, was under ownership of Wyman and Bennett, Wyman and Stilson and Lewis W. Frost, Wyman’s nephew. Records include general store daybooks, ledgers, and cashbooks. Also contain Wyman’s Justice docket containing a record of cases heard and marriages performed, and his commissioner’s docket relating primarily to county roads.
