Scope and Contents
Primarily 4x5-inch black and white negatives, with the occassional inclusion of color negatives from the 1960s. Negatives are housed in archival envelopes, grouped into the following categories: clinical departments, facilities, education and training, non-clinical departments, nursing schools, staff, and volunteer organizations and services.
Sub-series also includes a small collection of glass plate negatives from 1913-1915. Donated by the family of Dr. W.B. Moulton, these slides include images of various Moulton family members, as well as medical staff members of MGH on site. A small selection of images of a removed fibroid tumor are included as well.
