Photographs, audiovisual, and oversize material, 1846 - 2014
Scope and Contents
Series contains photographic prints, negatives, and audiovisual material. Photographs and negatives represent an array of hospital functions, people, and events, including health professions staff, early medical procedures, facilities, nursing schools and training, and volunteer services. Audiovisual material includes promotional, historical, medical, and celebratory topics, and is housed on VHS and cassette. Additionally, there is a selection of reproductions on microfiche/film, as well as oral histories recorded on mini and floppy disk.
Digital files originally housed on DVD and CD have been migrated to MHS servers and are available on request. Material is largely arranged in groupings similar to those of previous series and organized alphabetically within these groups.
Also included in this series are oversize material and original MMC archives source files.
