OFS was named guardian and executor for Asa Fields of Falmouth, Me., who had been deemed "insane." OFS sold a portion of Fields' estate to Dr. Lucian Ingalls, who also named OFS executor of his estate. Accompanied by PMS notes and research; PMS index number 5.

Brother of OFS, died after being shot by a deputy sheriff while resisting arrest following a family dispute over land ownership. OFS was executor of his estate. Photocopies and originals. PMS index number 23.
