Scope and Contents
Series contains personal records, writings, and financial material of OFS, including his Union Army discharge papers, documents regarding his various institutionalizations, writings, and two substantial diaries maintained by OFS over decades. Also housed here are financial records related to OFS' accounts, stores, property, estates of associates and family members,as well as the management of his estate by ROS, both under guardianship and after his death.
