Scope and Contents
Contains records documenting the work and activities of clinical and non-clinical departments of Maine General Hospital (MGH)/Maine Medical Center (MMC). Clinical department material includes institutional reports, brochures and pamphlets, memos, correspondence, articles, and histories documenting the evolution of each medical specialty and the services of the various departments. The non-clinical department material records the work of various offices critical to hospital operations, such as human resources, food services, patient care, development, and the medical library. Material includes brochures and pamphlets, correspondence, memos, reports, histories, and financial information. Series files are arranged alphabetically.
Note: Access to Boxes 48-50 is restricted until 2050, due to HIPAA requirements.
