Records related to the founding and governance of Maine General Hospital (MGH) and Maine Medical Center (MMC), as well as affiliate institutions that merged with the hospital over time: Children’s Hospital (CH), Maine Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI), and Brighton Medical Center/Osteopathic Hospital of Maine (BMC/OHM). The material in this series consists primarily of meeting minutes and annual reports documenting the work and decisions of the institutions’ boards of directors, corporators, and trustees.
