Scope and Contents
Mostly empty. Empty envelope inside diary is addressed to Frank Goold. Inscription on inside cover reads "bout (sic) at [illegible] by Mrs. Anna Clark, the first day of 62. Coust (sic) 25 cents." Letter found inside diary does not seem to belong to envelope addressed to Goold. The name "William Goodwin" appears many times in the diary. Fort Sumter is also mentioned.
