Genealogical information
This folder contains genealogical information about various branches of the Waite and Huston families. In the case of the Waite family, several documents purport to identify its progenitor as Richard le Wayte, a minstrel watchman, ca. 1066. None of the notes containing genealogical material identify either their author or the source of the information reported. The folder also contains an unsigned essay about “the Huston Place on the Mast Road,” near present day Highland Lake.
Photographs
This folder contains a number of portraits of family members several of whom are identified as well as an image of the homestead at “Mast Road Falmouth” believed to have been taken ca. 1870.
