This series contains personal and business papers relating to PEM, his work, and his community involvement. Significant portions of the series consist of his correspondence (9.1.2), community contributions (9.2), participation in business and industry associations (9.3), and his estate papers (9.5). Subseries 9.4 houses newspaper clippings collected by PEM about his life, family, Sunrise Acres Farm, and the first few decades of the Merrill Companies.
