Scope and Content note

Architectural drawings, including specifications, for Maine commissions. The drawings are for homes in Vinalhaven (A. Holmes Stockly), Falmouth Foreside (Arnold Dessau), Cape Elizabeth (Nancy B. Harvey’s Beckett’s Castle), William S. Richardson (Cape Elizabeth), as well as a hunting camp in Bridgton (Ralph Lancaster), Portland Country Club in Falmouth, Waynflete School in Portland, Canal Millcreek Bank in South Portland, RLDS Church on Vinalhaven, Merrill Auditorium in Portland, Kennebec Girl Scout Council on Adams Lake and South Bridgton, and Portland City Hall.

Also includes some drawings by other architects, including Kirkegaard Associates, John Calvin Stevens and John Howard Stevens, Wadsworth and Boston (Donald Dimick), and Douglas K. Goodspeed.

Processing note

Some drawings were flattened and put into OS folders, some were too big to flatten so were kept rolled and wrapped in paper and numbered. Several large specifications were put into folders in a document box. The drawings were catalogued into the Maine Memory Network's Architectural Drawings database.
