Biographical note

Dr. Aaron Porter, the son of Moses Porter, was born in Boxford, Mass., March 28, 1752, and died in Portland June 30, 1837. Dr. Porter was an eminent physician who practiced first in Biddeford and later at Portland. He was married to Paulina King, half-sister of William King, Maine’s first Governor.
