Biographical note

Harland Moody (1926-1997) was the son of Leonard Moody (b. 1899), son of Herbert M. Moody (b. 1860), son of Matthew Moody (b. 1823). Maine places in collection include Winterport, Lincolnville, Scarborough, Kittery, York, Standish, South Limington, Litchfield, Gardiner, Lisbon, Stockton Springs, Hallowell, Nobleboro, Union, Augusta, Jefferson, and many others.

Also includes a notebook about the Morang family.

Processing note

Originally came in ringed binders – removed from binders and put into folders. Some of the binders had numbers on them, which appears to be the sequential pagination, so these folders are arranged numerically, followed by the other binders. Also includes original notebooks (retained).
