Biographical note
Marion L. Dunn of Portland, Maine, compiled this collection. Marion Dunn was born in Danforth, Maine. After graduating from Danforth High School, she attended the Maine General Hospital School of Nursing, becoming a registered nurse. During her career she worked at the Boston Children’s Hospital and as pediatrics supervisor at Maine Medical Center. She pursued her interests in genealogy and history as a member of the Maine Historical Society, Mayflower Society, and D.A.R. Ms. Dunn was also the author of several genealogies, including one about the Hardings. She passed away in Portland.
