Maine research collection, 1820 - 2004
Scope and Contents
Series consists of primary and secondary source material documenting an array of Maine historical subjects. Material consists primarily of journal, newspaper, and research articles, many of which are annotated and/or accompanied by Webb’s personal notes. The material in this series was often collected and created in preparation for writing various papers, articles, and talks. The arrangement of the material reflects these purposes, as items are grouped in ways that support specific projects. There are three subseries: 1. Research files by subject, 2. Research files by era, and 3. Special project research files.
