Typescripts, newspaper clippings, reports, programs, manuscript notes, correspondence (including Kenneth Hawkes). In the years leading up to 1964, the First Universalist Church (Congress Square) experienced a declining membership and financial hardships. They sold the Congress Square building, merged with Messiah-All Souls, and renamed the Stevens Avenue church the Universalist Church of Portland.
