Scope and Contents
Series contains papers and records of the engineering firm E.C. Jordan & Co. Includes a miscellaneous collection of correspondence, administrative papers, financial records, project papers, company publications and pamphlets, relevant news clippings, and photographs. Also included are the daily diaries maintained by ECJ1, HIJ, and ECJ2 between 1870 and 1946, company account ledgers from 1877-1940, and a scrapbook documenting a contentious sanitary and sewage plan for Portland.
