The papers of members of the Chapman family, primarily J. Wilbur and Agnes Pruyn Strain Chapman, the parents of ACL, as well as ACL's brother Alexander Hamilton Chapman and his wife, Frances "Franny" Moore Chapman. Series includes correspondence, family histories, scrapbooks, and news clippings related to the personal and professional life of J. Wilbur Chapman, his marriage to Agnes Pruyn Strain, and the Chapman children.
