Scope and Contents
Parents of Jennie Donnell. Jotham Donnell material includes account books from the 1850s for medical practice in Houlton; correspondence, including letters home from Jotham and Maria's son, William C. Donnell; and Jotham Donnell research, including correspondence with Prof. Frederick Hoyt and research by Alice Mary Pierce. Maria Donnell material includes family papers, diaries and transcriptions (1862-1904), and scrapbooks, which may or may not have belonged to her. See O.S. Box 81 for an additional oversize scrapbook, which may have belonged to her.
