Box 81 for photostat of document signed by Abraham Lincoln appointing Pierce as U.S. Consul. And papers of Alma Allerton Pierce, granddaughter of Leonard Pierce Jr. and daughter of Charles Cushman Pierce, who was an educator who lived in Laredo Texas; an elementary school there is named after her (Alma Pierce Elementary School).
