Notes and photographs. Rats' Nest was purchased by Leonard and Anna Pierce in the 1920s. When Anna died in 1980 Alice Mary purchased the property and spent every summer there until about 2008. Jotham Donnell Pierce's son Jim and his wife Polly now own the property.
