Scope and Contents
Hodder family. The estate built in 1868-69 for Governor Morris Ogden originally was named Watersmeet. George Washington Vanderbilt II bought it in 1889, remodeled it and renamed it Pointe d'Acadie. It was torn down in 1956. See also Hodder.
