Includes: agreement, 1832 December 31, of Andrew Blethen to deliver cedar logs of specified diameter for construction of a floom; contract, 1834 October 1, by which Aaron Jackson agrees to work for John Hale for one year at eight dollars per month the first six months and twelve dollars per month the remaining six months; certificate, 1847 April 16, signed by the selectmen of Foxcroft certifying that John Hale manufactures and sells a salve known as White’s Salve (more commonly called Captain Hale’s Salve), a pill known as Dr. P.T. Carlton’s Pills, and a plaster labelled Dr. Carlton’s Vegetable Indian Green Plaster; also miscellaneous bills and receipts, many for timber and lumber products.
