HBM correspondence, 1945
Scope and Contents
Correspondence, memorabilia, and photographs, primarily from 1942-1945, documenting HBM’s years serving as a nurse overseas during WWII, as well as a selection of letters, family records, and photographs from other periods of her life. The scrapbook pages in Box 48 were found loosely tucked into the pages of an empty scrapbook; pages were removed for housing and the empty book was not retained. Note that series arrangement reflects original order, so there is some repetition of folder titles and groupings. Material is arranged by type.
