The Spring Street Company Records consist of board meeting minutes, 1927-1988; general files, 1946-1988; correspondence, 1963-1988; deeds, land and building purchases and sales, and leases, circa 1920-1981; map and blueprints, 1890s-1986; Wayne Estate documents including deeds, surveys, appraisals, assessments, and materials related to the fire, 1942-1987; tax and financial information, 1975-1988 (sampling of some of the materials, including bank statements, from the 1980s retained); the minutes of the Pocasset Lake Ridge Association, 2004 and 2009; advertisements and printed matter relating to the town of Wayne, 1948-1987; and financial ledgers and journals, 1927-1987, including one day book of the W.S. Libbey Co. from 1945-1947. Minutes includes meetings of directors, shareholders, special meetings, and ad hoc meetings. Some additional documents are included, and original order within has been maintained. Minutes include articles of association and bylaws.

Note: There may be some overlap between files, as it wasn’t always easy to determine where items should be housed. For example, while materials were pulled out regarding the Wayne Estate and property, some of the materials in the general files may be for the Wayne Estate (but unable to determine). In other words, there is more in this series than just Spring Street Company – it also includes personal property of family members in Wayne.
