Scope and Contents
Includes two unsigned documents dated 1688 involving the Governor of Port Royal (Annapolis), Nova Scotia, one of which discusses Indian attacks upon Casco Bay; memo of agreement between Waldo and Rev. Benjamin Allen concerning Allen's conveyance of 100,000 acres of land near the St. George River, dated 1735; account with Josiah Jackson, 1736; a list of bonds held by Waldo, 1741; a letter (copy) dated 1772 containing terms offered by Waldo to settlers upon his lands on the St. George River; several copies of a promissory note, dated 1753, of sundry weavers of Glasgow, Scotland, in favor of Waldo.
